Next Reunion
~ Saturday, April 24, 2004 ~
Dear Alumni and
Friends of Ackerman High School,
I want
to bring you up to date on our plans for the 2004
reunion April 24th. The local reunion committee met in
October and we have some exciting plans for next
April.
I also
met with Mr. Terry Stacy, the High School
Principal, who was most cooperative and helpful to
our planning. We do have some great plans to
involve some of the highly talented students in
the reunion program that we know you will enjoy.
The
committee reported input from many of you, and
we have plans to incorporate much of it. I personally
think that those of us who are interested in what
happens at the Ackerman School System can make a
difference, and we will present you with some
possible activities that will do just that.
The
committee will meet again in January 2004 and have
plans to start a publicity program for the reunion
at that time. Mark you calendar for April 24th,
2004 and make preparations to attend a great
reunion. Also, talk to your classmates and invite
them to attend. Lets make this a banner year for
the reunion.
We
really need to talk up our website.
Email all your classmates and urge them to visit
our website. They will find reports
and pictures from all past reunions. They can sign
and read the Guestbook. There is an alumni contact
section that contains email addresses from your
former classmates. Be sure to encourage them to join our free online
Ackerman Reunion newsletter and receive periodic
email updates. Let's all make a big push to all AHS
alumni to visit our website and subscribe to this
newsletter.
Don't
forget to circle the date - April 24, 2004
- on your new calendars.
Please
pray for our Soldiers, our President and Leaders
involved in the war against terrorism, and for
this great Country.
