Dear Alumni,

Saturday, April 27, 2002, is our annual school reunion. Registration will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the meeting will open at 2:00 p.m. - until. When you register please give your postal mailing address and e-mail address, including zip code. If your address has changed please make that correction.

We will be meeting in the Ty Cobb complex again this year. You will have the comfort and convenience of gathering in this valuable asset to our community. So, if you have not attended in the past years you must come and see this addition to our school.

Leslie Burton will be on hand again this year if your class wants a class picture. Cost will be paid directly to Leslie. If you order a picture come prepared to pay her.

The Choctaw County Historical and Genealogical Society has offered to provide light refreshments for the Ackerman School Reunion as a way of saying, Welcome Home. They will be assisted by the local civic group, Community Partners, as well as the Red Hills Power Plant. Plan to drop by, have a cool drink, and see what these local organizations are doing in the community.

Our attendance the past three years: 129 in 1998, 185 in 1999, 244 in 2000 and 235 in 2001.

We look for this year to be a big turn out since so many classes are planning their own get together. Commit to attend and forward this e-mail to any and every AHS student you know. The class of 1953 was honored with high attendance of 25 in 2001. Which class will this be in 2002?
